25 Places New to Nashville

All the places new to Nashville through 2022 and early 2023 - some of which have not even officially opened yet! This city is growing fast, and keeping track of every new store, restaurant, bar, and coffeeshop is tough. Here's a quick list of a few!

1. Tailgate Brewery Germantown

A new addition to the Germantown/Sulphur Dell area as of June 2022, Tailgate Brewery sits next to First Horizon Park and Brooklyn Bowl. Grab a beer before concert, bowl, or Sounds game.

2. Bringles Smoking Oasis

From Carey Bringle – the same pitmaster behind Peg Leg Porker – comes Bringle‘s Smoking Oasis, a barbecue joint that adds to the colorful neighborhood that is The Nations.

3. Novelette Booksellers

A fun, vibey, safe space for book lovers of all ages in East Nashville's Eastwood neighboord, this book store adds the the quaint house shop atmosphere of East.

4. Luogo Restaurant

Luogo is well-known restaurateur Anthony Scotto’s newest development and opened October of 2022. It offers delicious Italian dishes with an emphasis on coastal cuisine.

5. Mimo Restaurant and Bar

On the first floor of the brand new Four Seasons Hotel in Nashville, Mimo is a southern Italian restaurant headed by Aniello Turco – a Michelin-starred chef – that just opened in November 2022.

6. Almost Friday Sporting Club

On the first floor of the Holiday Inn Downtown, you'll find Almost Friday - a sports bar, live music hub, and eatery that opened in September 2022. Here if it isn't Friday, then it's always 'almost' Friday!

7. June

Another food experience from celebrity Chef Sean Brock, June is located above it's Brock compatriot restaurant Audrey and just opened in July 2022. Here you can enjoy 20+ course tasting menu on an intimate setting for $250 per person.

8. Taco Mamacita

The much beloved restaurant previously a staple of the Edgehill neighborhood is finally back! Now located in the historic Germantown building that was once Little's Fish Market, you can expect Taco Mamacita to open sometime in early 2023.

9. Pullman Standard

A new addition to the often underrated Cummins Station, Pullman Standard is a cocktail bar collaboration between award-winning restauranteurs, chefs, and architects. Expect it to open in early 2023.

10. The Rutledge

Originally a mainstay of Franklin, The Rutledge has opened a new location downtown as of June 2022. You can now enjoy the modern American grill in the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel on 2nd Avenue.

11. St. Vito Focacceria

A successful pop-up concept restaurant started by Chef Michael Hanna during the pandemic, St Vito is now opening in the Gulch come 2023. Enjoy sfincione pizza and Sicilian-style street food at this unique spot.

12. The Electric Jane

A new addition the the Gulch neighborhood in February 2022, The Electric Jane is a live entertainment and casual day dining spot for modern cuisine.

13. Joe Muer Seafood

Opening in Capitol View/North Gulch come January 2023, this new restaurant will focus on seafood, beef, free-range hormone-free chicken and wine. It's roots span back to 1929, when the original Joe Muer Seafood was founded in Detroit.

14. Velvet Taco

A unique fast-casual restaurant in the Midtown/Music Row area, Velvet Taco is a funky dressed-up taco joint for those bar-hopping along upper broadway and 21st Avenue.

15. The Hart

Located in the ever-changing Wedgewood-Houston/Chestnut Hill area of Nashville, The Hart is a unique Hawaiian restaurant on the first floor of the BentoLiving building with a unique cocktails, delicious seafood, and a environment of fresh greenery.

16. Carne Mare

An Italian Chophouse restauarant by Chef Andrew Carmellini, you can find Carne Mare inside the stylish W Hotel in the Gulch.

17. Punk Wok

A casual Japanese izakaya (an informal bar for drinks and snacks), Punk Wok is an eccentric drinking spot in the Sylvan Supply building on Charlotte.

18. Hester & Cook

Originally a home-goods store based on Franklin, Hester & Cook has expanded to Nashville with their newest addition in the quiet quaint Hillsboro Village. Here you can shop for unique kitchenware, decor, stationary, candles, and gifts.

19. Spread Market and Larder

An old-school grocery store concept inside a 1920s house in Germantown, Spread offers wines, beer and cider, pantry items, daily sandwiches, and homemade bread.

20. Tabla Rasa Toys

Tabla Rasa is an old East Nashville gas station transformed into a combination of a skate shop, toy store, and soft serve station. It sits right next to Vinyl Tap and Cafe Roze at Porter and Greenwood, an intersection with a little for everyone.

21. Parachute Home

The LA-based home decor and furniture store has made a splash in Nashville with it's new location in the Gulch, right next to Design Within Reach. Now you can shop for your new pad all in one place.

22. Q Clothier and Rye 21

Clothing partner of Monday Night Football known for styling the likes of Troy Aikman, Q Clothier and Rye 21 is an upscale haberdashery in the Gulch below the Thompson Hotel.

23. Rustler Hat Co.

Located right next to Q Clothier in the Gulch, Rustler Hat Co. is a local artisan hat maker where attention to detail and authenticity reign supreme.

24. American Paint Hat Co.

The brainchild of John Wayne's granddaughter - Jennifer Wayne - American Paint Hat Co. allows you to customize your hat anyway you like. You can find it in L&L Market on Charlotte.

25. Ostara Garden

Celebrating its grand opening in spring of 2022, Ostara Garden has quickly become a go-to plant shop, especially for those in the East Nashville area.
